6 ACOUSTIC GUITAR BLACK WITH DOT BRIDGE PINS
[AGBRIDGEPINSBLKDOT] £4.67
Quantity:
This set consists of six good quality tough plastic bridge pins.
Each bridge pin is slotted along its length to take the string.
The diameter at the base of the pin shaft is 4mm. The diameter near top of shaft is 5.1 mm.
The length of each bridge pin is 33mm.
These pins will fit a typical acoustic guitar bridge, however be aware that some bridges use non-standard size pins,
so it is a good idea to measure your existing bridge pins to check that these will fit.
The bridge pins are used to wedge the end of the guitar string firmly against the bridge plate.
When restringing an acoustic or bass guitar the ball end of the string must sit firmly against the bridge plate.
To fit a string, first place the ball (or nut) end of the string in the pin hole, place the pin in the hole
and pull the string up until the ball sits firmly against the bridge plate. Then push the pin tightly down.
This should stop the string from slipping as the string is tightened.
