6 ACOUSTIC GUITAR BRIDGE PINS CREAM WITH DOT
[AGBRIDGEPINSCRMDOT] £4.67
Quantity:
This is a replacement set of good quality tough plastic acoustic bridge pins.
Each pin has a slot along its length to take the string.
The bridge pins are tapered. The diameter of each bridge pin at the base of the pin shaft is 4mm.
The diameter at top of shaft is 5.0mm.
The length of each acoustic pin is 31mm.
These bridge pins will fit a typical acoustic guitar bridge, but be aware that some bridges use non-standard size pins,
so it is always a good idea to measure the existing pins and compare the sizes to check that these will fit.
The purpose of the bridge pins is to hold the end of the acoustic guitar string against the bridge plate without slipping.
When restringing a guitar which has bridge pins fitted, the ball end of the string must sit firmly against the bridge plate.
To fit a new string, first place the ball (or nut) end of the string into the bridgepin hole, place the pin in the hole
and pull the string until the ball sits against the bridge plate. Then push the pin down.
This should stop the string from slipping as the string is tightened.
